Exceptional Care for your Precious Pets

As a new client of our veterinary clinic in Aledo, you can expect our full attention to your pets’ needs. When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly, and we’ll settle you into an examination room after checking in your pet. In most cases, one of our veterinary technicians will start by asking about your pet’s medical history, current condition and the reason for your visit, gathering data for the doctor.

After reviewing the medical history and data collected by our technician or assistant Dr. Wicks will examine your pet, ask you further questions and then discuss his recommendation for care, any recommended testing and treatment options. Aledo Veterinary Clinic has an in-house lab and can perform most tests in the practice. This allows our medical team to be able to give you the best options for the care of your pet during your appointment. This is a great time to ask questions. Our veterinary team wants to make sure you’re completely comfortable with the information we’re providing.

Our veterinary technician will likely come back to wrap things up and will provide you with helpful pet care information, answer wellness and care related questions for you and go through directions on any medications that may be dispensed for your pet. Our reception team will assist you with scheduling any future appointments, dispense any preventative or over-the- counter medications and review the invoice with you prior to processing your payment. We accept cash, checks, major credit cards, debit cards and Care Credit.

We also offer an online pharmacy for all of our clients and can assist you in having medications delivered to your home, including the option to auto-ship. This option allows us to pass on the savings from not having to stock as much inventory in clinic. Many of our clients love the convenience and cost savings of our My VetStore Online. We also off offer an online store for our farm clients that ships direct to the farm, often overnight, with no shipping charges unless it includes hazardous products. This service is offered by us through our My PharmStore Online.

Please note: Our goal is to see all our clients and patients on time, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there will be times where the unexpected will create delays. We will ensure these are minimized as much as possible.

Farm calls are available by appointment on Friday and Saturday afternoons. Please note we are closed the 3rd Saturday of each month.
